The Gateway Foundation raises, manages, and distributes private funds to support scholarships, student aid, and program development at CT State Gateway. We are committed to removing barriers to education and contributing to student success.

Dear Friends,
It is with deep gratitude and a sense of purpose that I serve as a member of the Gateway Community College Foundation Board of Directors. My journey with this remarkable organization has been guided by a commitment to service, community, and the transformative power of education. The Foundation’s Board of Directors represents the very best of the Greater New Haven area—a diverse group of leaders from business, education, government, and healthcare who bring their expertise, passion, and dedication to strengthening the connection between the college and the community it serves.
As someone who has spent over 25 years in the telecommunications industry before answering the call to ministry, I understand the importance of resilience, adaptability, and the pursuit of growth. These values are reflected in the students of CT State Community College Gateway, who continue to inspire me with their determination to overcome adversity and achieve their educational goals.
In 2023, Gateway Community College became part of CT State Community College, marking a new chapter in our shared mission to provide accessible, high-quality education. The Foundation’s leadership remains steadfast in ensuring that the college’s roots in the Greater New Haven community remain deep, strong, and unwavering.
