Gehan is currently pursuing a General Studies degree with an exploratory focus, a steppingstone toward her ultimate goal of earning a degree in Business Office Technology. “I chose this major to prepare for my dream career as a Business Office Assistant,” she explained. “It’s a role I’ve envisioned for a long time, and I’m excited to gain the skills to make it a reality.”
Juggling coursework and family responsibilities, Gehan’s days are packed. Though she hasn’t had the opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities, her time at home with her children is just as meaningful. “As a parent, my priority is always my kids,” she said. “That’s why every step I take toward earning my degree matters — it’s for them as much as it’s for me.”
