Celebrating Excellence: CT State students attend the Oxford Consortium for Human Rights
We’re thrilled to share a proud moment for CT State Community College Gateway! This July, our very own Erik Murrell, LMSW, and Dr. Nutan Mishra from CT State Middlesex, alongside four exceptional students from CT State, represented us at the prestigious Oxford Consortium for Human Rights.
The Oxford Consortium brings together scholars and students from various disciplines to address vital issues in human rights, global conflict, humanitarian aid, and peacebuilding. For many students, travelling to the Oxford Consortium is their first experience of international travel.
CT State’s representatives included:
- JonA’ja Beamon – CT State Gateway
- Kenna Lavallee – CT State Quinebaug
- Hasham Rauf – CT State Middlesex
- Christian Robinson – CT State Three Rivers
During this impactful event, they engaged in thought-provoking seminars and attended a formal dinner, showcasing the excellence and dedication of the CT State community.
