Empowering Campus leaders- Meet Prapti

Prapti Hosur, an engineering science major and CT State Community College Gateway’s newly elected SGA Vice President, every achievement reflects both her hard work and the support behind her. The Geballe Family Scholarship underwrote her tuition for a full academic year, support that allowed her to step into leadership on campus without the weight of financial stress.

“This means more than financial help,” Prapti shared. “It means someone believes in me, in my dreams and potential. That belief gives me strength to keep going, even when things are difficult.”

With scholarship support, Prapti can focus on what matters most: her education, her leadership role, and preparing to make an impact through engineering. “I am deeply grateful,” she says. “Because of this scholarship, I can move forward with confidence and hope.” The generosity of donors like the Geballe family don’t just fund college, you empower students to lead, advocate, and shape their campus community. Your support helps create the next generation of thinkers, problem-solvers, and leaders.
