Gateway Community College Foundation Hosts 28th Annual Hall of Fame Celebration
The Gateway Community College Foundation hosted its 28th Annual Hall of Fame right in the heart of New Haven, at CT State Community College Gateway’s Downtown campus.
The Hall of Fame is the Foundation’s largest fundraiser and supports student success.
Hall of Fame honors community leaders who have made incredible strides to support Gateway, represent Gateway, and impact Greater New Haven.
Among those honored were:
The Alumni Award was presented to Pastor Harold Brooks ’89 of Beulah Heights First Pentecostal Church, to recognize his enduring impact and leadership.
The Community Honoree, Dr. Alice Forrester, President & CEO of Clifford Beers Community Health Partners, was celebrated for her unwavering commitment to community care.
Jeff LeClair, Education Manager at Subaru University of New England, received the Corporate award for his dedication to educational partnerships and automotive workforce development.
Finally, the prestigious Lion Award was presented to John DeStefano, Jr., New Haven’s 49th and longest-serving Mayor, in recognition of his transformative leadership and legacy.
