A Morning of Gratitude, A Legacy of Opportunity
At the 16th Annual Donor Scholar Brunch, something powerful happened. Students and donors sat side-by-side, shared stories, broke bread and contributed to a legacy that continues to shape lives at CT State Community College Gateway.
This year, the Gateway Foundation awarded:
- $176,000 in scholarships
- 13 fellowships
- 42 laptops to support student success
Behind every number is a name, a dream, and a journey that’s been made possible by generosity. This year, 363 students applied for scholarships. Of those, 286 had GPAs of 2.7 or higher, and 33 achieved a perfect 4.0. These are students balancing jobs, families, and life’s challenges, yet showing up with grit and hope every single day.
Thanks to donors like you, 175 students received scholarships that don’t just lighten a financial burden, they validate their potential , and encourage them to keep going.
